Syracuse's Doug Marrone on Browns, Bills radar

Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone looks to be a busy man in the coming days.

He already has interviews lined up with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Reports out of Cleveland say that they're flipping the script and looking to fill their head coaching spot before they hire a GM, rather than let the incoming GM pick one. “Our focus right now is getting the right head coach and if that happens everything else will fall into place,” Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Marrone, which ironically means brown in Italian, is the former New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator who left after three years to coach his alma mater in 2008. He inheritied a 3-9 team and took them to two bowl games in four seasons. Most recently, the won the Pinstripe Bowl, beating West Virginia 38-14.
