Plaxico Burress will be released from federal prison this June after shooting himself in the leg outside a New York City nightclub nearly two years ago. Many would think that the Cleveland Browns should stay away from a player who has been in prison and has been out of the game for a long period of time but according to a fan poll on Bleacher Report.com, Browns fans are willing to forgive if Burress can help the team win.
2,389 Browns fans voted on whether or not they feel Cleveland should pursue Burress once he is released from Prison.
According to the poll, 65.6 % of the audience sampled (about 1,587 votes) wants Cleveland to take a closer look at the former Super Bowl Champion even though his conduct record has not been perfect.
Burress’ former teammate, Tiki Barber, is also looking to come out of retirement this summer but Cleveland has not shown interest in his services.Original Story: http://www.brownscentral.com/2011/03/...
